The Yak Needed Shaving

Earlier I posted about moving to a static site and that I was using Pelican to generate the pages…
Well, it seems that not only did I not like the bikeshed colour, I also needed to shave the yak that was site generation!
My site now is still static, sporting a clean css with no javascript, and now generated by some custom Python code that i’ve written.
The generation is done by reading markdown files and using Jinja2 templates to build html pages. Yes, this is all just like what Pelican was doing, but I needed to do some custom processes for the IndieWeb work that is in place and being planned.
