cia.vc svn post-commit hook on windows
I've been hanging out on the #cia channel on irc.freenode.net lately and last night AnarkiNet was asking about how to hook up one of the post-commit hook scripts to his SVN server running on Windows. While I have never used SVN on Windows enough information was shared/discovered so that he was able to experiment and find the solution!
Two points I took away from his troubles:
- make sure you have a windows sendmail and that it allows local relaying for cia.vc's email address
- realize that the post-commit hooks run in the services context so may not have access to the environment vars you expect - this means putting them into the hook script itself
