spring chores
Both yesterday and today have been almost computer-free ... almost ;)
Yesterday we spent some time outside as we needed to plant two rose bushes. That meant digging the holes, prepping the soil and then the actual planting. Looking forward to seeing the new rose additions giving some blooms over the next couple of years. We also did some kitty spring cleaning: clean and wash litter boxes and setup some new ones. Litter boxes, even the plastic ones, get stinky after a while so they need to be replaced.
We also are experimenting with some new litter. One of our cats recently went thru a bout urinary blockage and one of the suspects we have discovered after researching the issue was clay based clumping litter and since Poods is a squat-on-the-ground cat that makes sense.
Today I woke up with sore legs and knees - but that's a Good Thing :)
So after a couple errands and some just-enjoy-the-day meanderings I think its now time for some WoW One thing I did notice was the hmm-should-trim-that-bramble patch chore has not morphed into oh-damn-that-grew-fast!-bramble patch - so I know what I'm doing one of the next couple mornings.
