introducing twerp - YATC
YATC (Yet Another Twitter Client) While waiting for the test tinderbox runs to cycle, I was chatting with some friends on IRC last night where one of them was complaining about a lack of a simple Linux command line Twitter tool.
After asking a couple questions to see if he really wanted a simple tool I told him I would write one for him using Python - so twerp was started.
Twerp can send a status update, send a direct message and poll for your latest friend's timeline.
That's it - nothing else. All written in Python with help from simplejson Source, Python 2.4 and 2.5 ez_install eggs and other tidbits can be found at http://code.google.com/p/pytwerp/
