Who'da thunk it
You would never think that I would have trouble talking about anything, but it seems I have a lot of trouble talking about my skills. It has been a long time since I’ve had to use a resume since my prior two jobs I landed by the hiring people knowing me ahead of time. So, without too much ado, I have posted the first draft of my “resume":http://code-bear.com/resume.html for review and critique. It is a work-in-progress and I do plan on updating it with a punch- list of projects that I am able to show demos for (those that are not covered by some form of NDA.) The main problem I had was deciding what to include. I consider myself a coding generalist as I have skills in a lot of areas with specialization in some (database and data conversion for example.) I’ve been in the business long enough, participated in two applications that are used by non-company customers and lived thru a number of paradigm shifts that I could have pages of information - but I have decided to list the items that I’ve had the most fun doing with the hope that it will attract a company that will be fun to work for.
